The Drilligan scenes on this and the following page, and the subsequent storyline involving Drilligans' Island, is here basically because the first time I drew it, in YEGCH magazine issues 8 & 9 (in 1979 and 1980), I lost both issues in 1981 (long story). I rewrote the story from memory, but didn't get to drawing it right away. Since Soaker had been a part of the Haggy story anyway, I decided it made some sense to represent the Drilligan story within Haggy. But as a 23-year-old I added some additional humor to the story that I wouldn't have thought of adding as a 14-year-old, including Hungrin's comment in panel one of this row, and the appearance of the beer can in panel two.
