The entryway of the Seiden (main hall). This
was the royal palace of the Kingdom of the Ryukyus for about 500 years.I should
note, though, that all the original buildings were destroyed in World War II
or other points in history. Most of these buildings were rebuilt in the 1990s;
this one in 1992.
